This spring CABA provided scholarships for four law students to attend the Evelyn Gandy Lecture Series. The Mississippi Bar's Women in the Profession Committee hosted the 26th Annual Evelyn Gandy Lecture Series at Grand Hotel, Point Clear, AL on February 22-24, 2019. This premier CLE for women lawyers was named for the late Lt. Gov. Evelyn Gandy, whose passion for public service survives through this lectureship. Her stellar career was capped with her being elected as the first female lieutenant governor in Mississippi's history.
