In honoring our judiciary, we recognize the varying paths that our judges took to ascend to the bench. United States District Judge Carlton Reeves and Presiding Judge Virginia Carlton of the Mississippi Court of Appeals will provide brief remarks on their unique judicial journeys and what motivated them to choose serving as judges. CABA and Jackson Young Lawyers also will present their annual awards and each organization will pass the gavel to incoming leadership. The event begins at 6 pm with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner.
